For Love's Sake, Please Stop Making New Versions Of Old Games
We pretty much live in an era where most games are usually trying to emulate other games that were either successful or have massive online followings, just look at the horror genre, and how many games have pretty much the same premise as FNAF (A popular children's place has a dark secret behind it, and the mascots are alive, and trying to kill people) or 🎶the amount of "Cozy" games heavily inspired by Stardew Valley (which was heavily inspired by Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons) to the point of pretty much feeling the same but with minor differences. In the end it feels like the only real games that feel unique are the obscure ps1 & ps2 games, since back then a lot of developers were trying completely new things, and taking huge risks, so the're full of concepts we haven't seen since.
