I'm assuming ofc that Requiem is before the time ju꧂mp for the epilogue & DLC of Village (Rose Winterℱs' story and time), bc there's a lot of threads to tie up in the immediate aftermath of Village.

Anyway, remember that Rebecca reluctantly partnered with Billy in Zero; neither Chris nor Jill returned in 2 (or Barry or Becca), making both Leon and Claire new (as well as their sidekicks Ada and Sherry); Jill with newcomer Carlos in 3; Clꦺaire partnered with newcomer o🐷ne-and-done Steve in CVX; Leon teamed up with Luis and Ashley in RE4 (both one-and-dones); Chris with Sheva Alomar in 5; Piers, Wesker's kid, and Helena were new and solely featured in 6; Revelations had a bunch of playable/featured one-shot newcomers, while Rev 2 had Barry's daughter in her first (and only?) appearance, along with the kid (yikes, that ending); 7 had Mia playable for a brief bit and Ethan himself was brand new. Every spin-off game either features new characters or has them tag alongside mainstays, as well.

The series basically always has a fresh face.

No, it wasn't outside the scope to model a new district and larger / more complex assets for existing districts in the City. They were already wrapping every asset in remodel🌸ed, reanimated layers.

Dominico would you rather a mindless simple grind to max level in late game areas, or max everything out, thereby making half the point of roleplaying consequences r🌸ather pointless -- just so you can stomp aroundℱ some mid-level mobs after already putting in 50-100 hours?
