It seems like everything I heaꦚr about Lorcana anymore is how oppressive the meta has become. That can't be good for the health of the game long-term, and it tells me that it's not being playtested enough before new sets are final🦋ized.

(Also, cards with a blue color theme drag out the game and make it less fun for ever⛦yone else... where have 💎I heard that before...?)

I agree, I think there's a delineation that we're still fඣiguring out. By the same token, if someone refers to "old movies" they're probably referring to the 1960s or earlier, even though movies from the '70s, '80s, and increasingly '90s and '00 could be considered "old" at this 💮point.

It was a fun one! I'm not sure whether its🌊 trouble was being ahead of its time, though. It seems like the most successful asymmetric games, like Dead By Daylight, have more of a cat-and-mouse playstyle than Evolve's combat-driven mechanics.

That said, I did really like h꧋ow Evolve turned the mons𝐆ter from prey to predator over the course of the match, though I generally think the game favored the Hunters overall.

I think Dwarf Fortress is a similar situation. Su🅠re, it's entirely possible to make a similarly deep and complex game, and given enough funding and people you could do it without needing decades, but its ultimate success was largely driven by the involvement of its community and the passion that grew around it during its prolonged early access period.

They don't have a choice; I think it's release a new Mass Effect or close upᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ shop. Veilguard didn't meet its financial goals, and no amount of ink spilled on the whys and wherefores will change that. Their options are to hit a homerun with an existing franchise or gamble on a new one, and you know which plan of the two EA will finance.

Dynasty Warriors: Ori♌gins did this with the Lu Bu boss fight, and it's a nightmare. Even once you learn his counters, you still just have to endure for ages because it takes so long to actually get💫 anywhere with his health bar.

I mean, do we really need it? At the time, digitized graphics were the closest thing you could get to photorealism outside of an FMV. We've come a long, LONG way s𓄧ince the days of the original Mortal Kombat. I can see using digitizไed actors as an artistic choice for an indie game, but that's about it.

🌌That's a tough one. My top five in no particular order would be Resident Evil 4, Baten Kaitos, Star 🍒Fox Assault, Thousand-Year Door, and Super Smash Bros Melee.

If we're going jꦑu꧅st by which game I LIKE the most, it's probably Star Fox. As for which one is actually the best... very tricky.
