It seems like eve𝓡rything I hear about Lorcana anymore is how oppressive the meta has become. That can't be good for the health of the game long-term, and it tells me that it's not being playtested enough before new sets are finalized.

(Also, cards with a blue color theme drag out the game and make it less fun for everyone else... where have I he🍨ard that before...?)

I agree, I think there's a delineation that we're still figuring out. By the same token, if someone refers to "old movies" they're probably referring to the 1960s or earlier, even though movies from the '70s, '80s, and increasingly '90s and '00 could be considered "old" a🎃t this point.

It was a fun one! I'm not sure whether its troubꦆle was being ahead of its time, though. It seems like the most successful asymmetric games, like Dead By Da꧂ylight, have more of a cat-and-mouse playstyle than Evolve's combat-driven mechanics.

That said, I did really like how Evolve turned the monster f💦rom prey to predator over the course of the match, though I generally think the game favored the Hunters overall.
