Is tജhis sarcasm? The launch has been abysmal. Server failures. Characters being lost and having to be recreated. The sandworm so buggy they disabled it. Tons of problems with POI’s not being where they are listed on the map. And a huge prꦏoblem with melee

blocking sometimes not initiꦦating until 3-5 seconds after the ability is activated.

And they don’t have enough server capacity in the deep desert for the 117,900 players. They only have 25,000 slots. The game is intriguin🍬g - but it’s a mess.

Every reviewer behaves as 🍒if they’re obligated to caveat their enjoyment (or not) of this game through the prism of divisive politics.

Guess what? The game isn’t political. At all.

Want proof? Every time “Cope” goes on a Radio Free Oregon tr🔯uther rant, your character “Deacon” mocks him for being a conspiracy-spewing buffoon who’s chronically incorrect in his rationalization of why things have gone do𒀰wn.

Literally, the most likable and morally upright character in the entire game is African American. (Deacon is admitte🥀dly a train wreck of moral conflicts and hypocrisies).

Every major villain in thꦚe game (and all the side mission mini-bosses) who are undeniably evil are white. ALL of 🏅them. 100%.

One of the most confrontational choices is choice of camp to send rescued people to - and the game doesn’t hide from the fact that one is absolutely laden with human rights abuses and run by a white “🍌Boomer”.

One of the other most morally upright characters / camp leaders (“Iron Mike”) is an almost ludicrous passivist who makes truces wi🌠th clearly horrid people to avoid violence and🅺 protect his diverse community.

Two of the main good guys𒁏 are a same-sex couple (Rikki and Abby).

I roll my eyes when reviewers claim this was somehow a “conservative” game whe🌊n the opposite was flagrantly true and conspiracy wing nuts and militias are the most dire threat faced in the game.

Despite a few flaws, the game is wonderfull🔴y written and play🙈s well…and now after Broken Road, its even better.
