When Veilguard was announced, I thought for sure Inky was going to be the protagonist. Having thus random Rook be the new hero when Veilguard is liteౠrally 🦹a direct sequel to Inquisition boggles me.

It was either:

A🃏) D🎀o nothing and let the people of the Source die to fuel the "lives" of already dead people.

or

B) Free the souls trapped against their 🃏will and give the Endless a semblance of peace.

They left us with no other options.
