EA caused the downfall. One of the original BG writers sa🐠id as much - they don't value writers or writing - so you end up with cheap no talent writers. What do expect from the corporate execs who made money from the Madden games - which didn't need writers?

I had the s🌊ame problem...then I read some online tips and stopped paying attention to side quests.

Main plot quests an💟d 🌳companion quests only! Ignore everything else, and the game moves along.

While I understand and partially agree with the decision---there are choices that directly effect characters they decided to ꧅include! Morrigan - does she have a child and can she change to a dragon now? Varric - did Hawke survive?

You can e♏asily fix this by not having those characters, but that's not what t𓆉hey did...

This screams that the developers do no🍌t understand the series... They can fix a lot with a patch to codex entries, but the main choices!?! Heck - Hawk👍e bring alive or dead would have a major impact on varric!
