There is a rather easy answer to the paint issue at least and maybe other things taken for ಌgranted in games by gamers who play a lot.

Hဣave an option to remove the painted🐎 sections (they are just textures) akin to the tutorial hints you find in other games can be disabled,

Change the colour of red barrels to nor♚mal colour for example.

These things could be a realism setting or something but without affecting game difficulty🤡 in the normal way (aka bullet sponge b🍬osses ), that can have it's own gameplay difficulties. \this would just be a visual difference like some no huh options etc.
