Its a narrative based on the celebrated original, so we know its a good ✨narrative; a good story. That's why there are still loads of fans. It's the padding around it that's the mai🧸n issue. But yet its still optional.

Because of the narrative driven story, it still has to go in one direction so we don't have much freedom over what we can do- especially where the whole playing cat and mouse with Shinra is concerned- because all these characters are essentially frozen in position. Thats why I'm using Assassin's Creed as an example (possibly even Baldurs Gate 3)because you can get chased by guards and bounty hunters and face consequences that affect the narrative. FF7 rebirth just isn't that kind ofꩵ game. But, so what? We still enjoy it! I don't care how padded out it is- the more Final Fantasy stuff we get, the better!

Erm pretty much every movie is narrative driven whether it's a masterpiece or not. And no, you're not bac🐲k to square one. You're further along in the story, more characters and some black materia... just possibly none of the other equipment at the start of the third installment lol

This is a big game with a pretty big open world, of course there's gonna be distractions from the main plot. As for the 'pacing'- that'🐲s down to the player's choice to go at their own pace. Just play the story then and disregard all the side content. Not impossible.

if the whole thing was just one big urgent chase that woul💝d be plain over the top. The game is still largely narrative driven. If you doꦿn't like it then just play Assassin's Creed or something and get chased by a mob.

Definitely don't scrap/ scale down open world! Don't see the point of an expanded story that opens out from Midgar just to be reduced to another take of FF10-2. We can see from the current map that there are still places unexplored. Btw what could be in the south? Given that the Temple of the Ancients has been moved north. FF7 has always been about darting back and four🥀th in a freed up open world.

I think with their r🌊ocky road since FF15 the open world has been tricky. Yet R💙ebirth has done well with it to fill the place up. That being said, natural environments should still feel vast and real. We can't expect there to be a funfair/Disney land resort every 100 metres.

If things were stripped down at this point i think it woul🧜d just cause a major imbalance and just ruin any fluid sense of continuity. W𒈔e've opened up the world now (and its multiverses) so lets just keep it that way and finish off what we started!

Yeah.... its a little bit of an overeaction over probably the most inconsequential thing about Pokemon. Fair enough for those who have a wild imagination that's sonething else but usually its young ꦫkids that try to rationalise/ irrationa𓃲lise fiction and turn it into their own nightmares.

Japanese children ꦕare used to far worse like animations that actually contain gore and throw some very adult-deep themes like death so I'm sure this is just n✅othing.

Totally- Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Hunchback of Notre Dame are all Disney sugar coated versions of some o🐓riginally horrific stories

Anyways without giving some pokemon an edge that makes them more memorable, wouꦍldn't that just make them bland and forgettable? Particularly if they have not so inspired designs

Totally agree. X-men has fallen under the Hollywood curse of ' the leading man' where the first X-Men movies totally revolve around Wolverine (or rather Hugh Jackman). He's the on🐻e that can save Rogue in the first, his backstory in the second and the only one that could stop Dark Phoenix so.. its become a Hugh Jackman movie collection really (including many following sequels -and prequel)
