Dragon Age Origins was a spiritual sequel to the Baldur's Gate games, and even tha🦩t came up short in terms of flexibility.
DA has only re🉐treated from 🐽that, as if that wasn't what the market wanted until they got to Veilguard which is basically a rejection of what inspired it.
BG3 is an exception, but it does show how misguided that approach was even now. BG3 t🐼ook the pen and paper approach beyond the original games, while VG is very much an action game made to appeal to current audience... comparing the approaches is relevant.
All the review bombing asi🀅de I'm under the impression the viewership is far far off most of the other SW tv shows.
It would i🍒ndicate the lauded accessibility to new viewers is working even less than the shows that are built on existing lore.
Generally overall quality seems to be a bigger driver. Some of The Mandalorian's biggest viewership came from the deepest lore cuts and even the best Star Wars of the l⛄ast two decades (Clone Wars, Rogue One, Bad Batch and Andor) is still fundamentally built around existing lore. The shows are built around it without it being just lore dumps.
Quality is very possible and often bolstered by strong, relatively strict wor♋lds.
The MCU has gone off the rails, but its crowning achievement(arguably the most successful movie in history) rꦯelied in a heavy knowledge of 20 movies worth of story, characters and lore. It has🌸 struggled, much like Acolyte when it strayed too far from its own world.
The Acolyte is not the worst th🍨ing ever created, despite all the backlash, but it isn't ꧙a strong argument for wider stories written by non fans either.

Sony Could Learn A Thing About Being Pro🦂-Co෴nsumer From Valve
The Pro is going tဣo run most games with comparable(sometimes better or much better)graphics at twice the framerate. That is far fr🙈om meaningless.
I love my steamdeck but the resolution and framerate can still be downright nasty on many games𒁃.
If I could have a new one with twice the framerate on every game or much higher res with f✨ps isn't a concern I would be pissed if they don't make it.
