Have you seemingly ignored all of the times the WoL is there to support her, toug🃏hen her up, and keep her focused? We're backseat for a reason, because we're not the main character this time, and that's OK. I've beaten Dawntrail, so I think you should have waited to do so before making comments that aren't supported by the story.

As far as the stakes being too low for the first half -- this is a competition between family over the throne of a country. The entire point of it is for Wuk Lamat and the others to learn about their people and find waysꦜ to work together for the good of their people. The stakes do rise later, the decision for who claims the throne does throw things into a tailspin.
