I am a massive civ fan but after queuing outside GameStop for civ 5 with a handful of people at launch and being unable to play it for months, the game just didn't want to stay running for more than 15 minutes (including initial load times), and repeating the process with beyond earth which refused to load terrain, with revolutions and civ 6, i waited over 6 months before buying them (and i own both games on multiple platforms now). I'm going to do the same with ༺civ 7 as well.
