I hate this take so much. The original remake will still exist, no? It’s a great game, I agree, but getting a new version doesn’t take away from the OG. Some players are just never going to get past the dated elements (controls, camera, door animations) so a new version will simply expand the player base. Those players aren’t going to play the original remake no matter how much the super fans continue to praise it. Times change. Thankfully we will all stilꦜl be able to enjoy the original regardless of what Capcom decides to do in the future.
