Wizards excel at crowd control, and AOE damage. Dingle target dam♚age is not something you want to try to excel at. Too many other martial classes do it better and don't have to use limited spell slots to do it

If the TV hasn't been rewritten it's still an opti🐬on. I there is no knew necromancer subclass do the old subclass is still viable and completely compatible. You simply take the subclass at 3rd level instead of 2nd. And y🎀ou replace the old savant feature with the new savant feature.
