Funny how these types always screech about "respecting the developer's vision" until the developer does something they don't like. But then these are the same kind of unpleasant gatekeepers I have personally witnessed brag about getting banned from Reddit, so I can't say I care what they think and neither should the 💛devs of this game. It's not a hard concept. Cosmetics affect gameplay by increasing player enjoyment of the aesthetics. People like looking cool and standing out, especially in a competitive setting, and companies weaponize that. Overwatc🧜h wouldn't be as popular as it has b🙈een if every character looked exactly the same with different equipment.

If you don't mind rocking the default skins, more power to you. You're not the target demographic. For people who DO care about how they present themselves, be it for self-esteem or to show off ♚or any oꦛther reason, purchasable skins have been a pox on the industry.

Honestly, I don't trust Sega to pull it off. Even back in the day they were inconsistent, since 1 and 4 were great and 2 and 3 had problems. U🐻nless they hand it to a competent indie developer like they did with Sonic Mania, I wouldn't expect much.

None? I never had this problem. Most builds won't, unless you're doing something terrible like investing in all stats equally. I might agree about thick as thieves, I don't have a horse in that race, but you're complaining a൲bout Nightreign? Really? The online aspects in Souls games have always been great fun, it's one factor in the enduring popularity of the series꧙, and there's always been people clamoring for the multiplayer to be expanded in some fashion. Popular mods like Seamless Co-op for Elden Ring wouldn't exist otherwise.

So here's a game that expands on Souls multiplayer and takes the brutal Souls gameplay into a new format. I can only speak for myself but my friend group has been wanting something like thi꧂s for years and it's finally happening, the game industry crapping it's pants and ruining innumerable multiplayer games really has nothing to do with it.
