Haven't played DW in at least a decade. Had an itch to play so I tried jumping into DW9 for a quick match of slaying hundreds of chaff enemies🥂.

Was instead greeted by 30 minutes of cutscenes and dozens of pop up🐽 tutorial screens before I was finally able to take out a measly 20 enemies and a single general.

What happened to this series?
