Another game that uses cards only is Lost Beneath The Earth. Where your doomed expedition gives up everything in pursuit of their goal, and fails. It's not about triumph but the slow inevitable failings of flawed creatures. GM less and a great way to spit ball ideas of how things can go from bad to worse. Highly recommend it either as a doorway into trying collaborative story telling or for a couple forever GMs to s🍰tretch those prophets of doom muscles.
