I just started another play through. This time will be the first time I've played it on PC though. I also started as an elven mage. I have had zero issues. I have an Rx🍒 5700 xt gpu and i5-9600kf. I made sure all my drivers were updated. Something here tells me this is user error. And the writer admits to being a Mac person so this reinforces my thought of this being user error. The game is not broken. My only complaint is text size when using 4k resolution. But the game is so old it doesn't gain much from that so I just play at 720p
