DH ꧋offers𒐪 little over DnD and spends too much effort trying to accommodate for the "critical role" crowd instead of just being an approachable fun alternative to DnD or any fantasy ttrpg, instead they've made a messier worse version that's very much obsessed with trying to trump DnD that it falls short of doing much else. The classes and races are a total mess, the card system is bogus, the 2 d12s is interesting in a bubble but in practice is clumsy and just more work. This is a system made by people who don't actually enjoy ttrpgs and just want a board game with "roleplay".

It's a half baked answer to a problem they created themselves. It's a backwards system that tries to go in two complete opposite ways and it's just a total wasted effort by MM and CR. They've been the death of ttrpgs and t൲his daggerheart slop is the final nail.
