Indeed, both Mass Ef🎀fect and Dragon Age were progressive in tasteful ways, not so overt or preachy. They gave you choices to open up the homosexual content, but you didn't have to do it. Whereas Veilgu🍎ard wants to deliver a message, one that is forced, and that's why it failed. If Bioware does it to Mass Effect, then they should be relegated to the ash heap of gaming history.

A dedicated fan knows when to fight for what they༺ like. Initially I was excited to go back into the world of Dragon Age, but then I pulled a Barv because I didn't want gender politics shoved in my face.

No one had "Blind Rage" over it. The lean into weird social justice and gender politics was just a bridge too far, but EA chose "the modern audience" over fans that have been loyal to Dragon Age since the beginning. I didn't like the MMORPG eleme🔥nts from Inquisition but the⭕ story was far better than the Tripe in Veilguard.
