I don't mind the show having a full serious tone, since the main story in yakuza games were serious too. Te funny and whacky stuff came from side stories. The one thing I do not enjoy is them changing so much of every characters own backstory, making t🎐hem less interesting and the only similarity they share with the games are the names of the characters.
