Second punchline is the nonsensical notion that everything being made here is beneficial. Let’s skip over the resources to create manufacturing infrastructure. Take a graphics card, first is the transporting of the materials here used to make it and the🅠 associated labor cost. Then the much much higher labor cost to do things here in the states vs countries like China or Vietnam. So be prepared to pay much higher cost, which means less sells, which mean those factory workers fired. So we can spend billions on infrastructure on factories that will inevitably closed .

You realize many of these tariffs don’t exist right? Or at least they don’t exist in a manner that a𒊎ctually impacts us. A number of these tariffs that Trump cites are level based. It’s like saying if you send 12 gazillion pounds of steel to a county, at that point it will trigger a tariff. It’s meant to protect an industry from over saturation of a product. These are levels that will never be reached, making them not real tariffs.

Second he cites trade deficits. So ba𝓀sically we buy more from country A than they buy from us. That is in no way unfair or inappropriate. No one consumes like Americans, so it should come as no shock that we get more from most countries than they get from

us. That is not their problem, that is our problem. Our economy is built on the back of consumerism, don🐻’t push it for decades—the billionaire businessman himself—and then turn around and say it’s wrong.
