I don'𒁃t think it's dirty work at all. The Switch has been around for over 8 years & has reached mass market penetration. A vast majority of people who bought it, didn't buy it assuming or thinking the GameCube would come to NSO, especially 8 years later, a point where most consoles are long dead. They have to give people good reasons to upgrade & this is one of them. I'm fine with it.

Agreed. That's how I felt when people were complaining about Rockstar releasing Red Dead on the Switch for $50. Sure, it might have been over a decade old when it released on the Switch, but I had never played it, nor did I own any of the systems it debu🧸ted on, so $50 to play what is considered one of the better games of all-time sounded like a great deal to me.
