Veilgaurd was lost from the beginning it was a mmo rebooted three times before the b𒁃ig bad EA decided it doesn't need to be live service. Right before that, EA ex prez said something along the lines that the single player experience is not the way to go for profit any more and gaming companies should shift from the single player experience. The problem with veilguard is that everything was rushed and tacked on haphazardly, because EA saw first hand that single-player games are still a viable genre of gaming. They rushed everything the 🍬last minute just like with anthem. Nothing in veilguard feels too planned or tested, just wrapping up loose ends.
