As a long time fan of the DA series I am highly disappointed especially as we waited 10 yrs for this. It’s not just the woke stuff that plays way to much in it, but there is no challenge in the puzzles or fighting. Yes I did complain about the woke stuff. It feels like I was being forced into others beliefs. I have no problem with someone’s identity but it feels like they put way too much into this. We should be fighting the bad guys figuring out puzzles not doing push ups over something that doesn’t affect most peo🧸ple. Then get basically told if we don’t do what they asked we are the bad guys. I think on the most part, every player has spent at least a few hours building their character to the way they look. And it’s all bland and well for the female character builds looks too much like men. Even building their characters abilities are not great. I’ve got bored and am now going back to BGS. The funny campy tone and always has me laughing and all the characters are absolutely adorable with their antics. Antics that DAV lacks. Normally the mods spice things up but I don’t think they will be able to do much with this. DA and other games are meant to be an escape but DAV is basically boring and well too much like real life. Life we play to escape. Don’t bother wasting money on this.
