"I Think People Wanted To See BioWare Fail": Dragon Age: The Veilguard Actor Was Devastated By The Game's Failure
that make a new game revolutionary, or t💞oo exciting not to try!
You just have to try inn♉ovative things nowadays; and there’s𒅌 nothing gamers hate more than being blamed for any employer’s layoffs. NetEase laid off the entire Visions of Mana studio before the game even went live; and they still blamed the player bases’ demographics and “shifting interests” for that outcome as well.
People are just very, very sick of seeing high-AAA budget games underperform du🐼e to excessively high turnover in the AAA Space; while tight-knit studios and Indie Spaces are giving their characters; battle mechanics, models, and systems every bit of attention they deserve.
I think the data is fairly clear, even without statistical models: high levels of synergy help the team inℱvest and finish a project within a timely manner, sure, but it also prevents games from being 🅺delayed due to a lack of ideas and/or solutions fro
the staff because the K𝓡ey Art🌜ists previously relied upon, have all left for stronger roles.

Being as sincere and critical as I can be, but my issues here are primarily with the writing’s excessive reliance on established comparisons with ꦜno metric for comparison, and🌊 the ludicrous application of absolute adjectives as statements of fact that have totally turned this from a speculative/opinion peace, to just introducing a firing round of criticism from a voice actor that follows a first paragraph up by initiating a second paragraph with more speculative grandstanding:
basically, “it’s safe to say the commercialꩵ failure of something if the expectations fell way the fuck out of the scope of that project. First Andromeda was totally botched; then I’m supposed to come up and assist but probably suffocate in space as Weebs lock our games to the floor until they finish arguing over the cup and firmness of their new AI Waifu‘s assets, relative to Stellar Blade’s and the next or last Atelier?
1.5 Million is still very good, and I feel liꦆke a lot of peo🌳ple are continuing to purchase the game—especially if to goes on Switch 2.
People had not seen or really heard of the Dragon Age world in well over 7 years?!? A compilation to remaster and re-release Origins, Dragon Age 2; and Dragon Age: Inquisition could have been a re🌸ally nice treat here, as long as it never exceeded $60 in price…
It is very likely that a project like this had too many chiefs and not enough Indians, in a way, with far toi many suggestions regarding execution, character development an✱d growth, and so on—too many of which don’t vibe well together, unlike Dragon’s Dogma 2, for example… At the expense of ultra-focused stoওry-telling across the worlds we’ve previously seen, against Gods who could wipe the floor with me?
They also failed to buc🍰k the trend by seeking all of the most engaging—yet simple—ways to make “turn-based combat” into a rump button-mashy action RHAs to supposedly cater tꦦo the type of experience “new young gamers want;” instead of creating the sort of exeprience tailors for
