Coming from a Persona fan— Royal was so bloated I felt more overwhelmed than having meaningful choices. And Morgana never shuts up or stops giving you restrictions. In a world where you’re supposed to🥃 basically have total freedom, the rules imposed on you defeat that purpose.

I went to replay it and Atlus needs to make these NG+ tutorials skippable and more NG+ friendly, when that’s largely their whole model. P5R was so laborious I’ll never play it 𝓀again. ♍Also the Mementos sub-dungeon was such a grindy time waste. At least P3R honed some of these things in.

tl;dr— P5R was way too bloate🌜d to be fun for m𓄧e or feel like I was doing anything truly free or meaningful within it.
