Fable feels like the exact kind of game that in progress footage for would be ripped apart. A lot of gamers don't understand the deve༺lopment process at all and expect even a vertical slice taken after a few years to look like the finished product. There's no winning for this game as far as I𝕴 can tell.

As you say Obsidian won't have had a say in this, which sucks. I liked rather than 🤡loved the first game but I could see the potential and will definitely play the second. I'll be on Gamepass though, whereas even on Xbox I might have bought it at say £60. That's the other issue with these price rises. In the UK a $80 game becomes an £80 game which I think works out at over $100. If they translated the price across properly it would be £60 rounded up. Which would seem fine in the circumstances.

I'll always at least have a look at a Strange Scaffold ga🔯me. I don't like them all but they neve🌱r fail to try something new and interesting.

Maybe all the people guessing it was a sequel to Quantum Break will get Microsoft to talk to Remedy about actually doing it. Admittedly Control is the spiritual sequel but I'd love another QB game. That said there's no way Remedy can have anyone spare for a l🧸ong time and absolutely no other studio should touch it. I can dream though.
