After Nine Years Of Loving No Man's Sky, It's Lonely Being A Starfield Fan
As someone who also love's starfield before it released I knew to curb all of the hype on the game. Bethesda will always be cursed by the Skyrim fallout expectation. In any game they make people will forever say it's the new one of those titles and it never will be. If this was a small indie team full of devs that made this game people would praise it. it seems nowadays that games are judged solely off being way too big way too small or just enough it's the Goldilocks theory. I just don't think we'll ever see more games like Skyrim or Red Dead redemption 2 or a Fallout.even gta 6 will fail to reach these heights because of the massive buildup and expectations. Now GTAO will always be popular because for some reason people hate doing random fetch quest and a single player story mode but love grinding for thousands of hours in a daily online game doing the same heist or random sell missions over and over again.Hell I have fallen into this loop myself even though I much prefer a single player games I understand when they're over they're over and then you revisit them a year or two later to replay them and that's what I hold on to until someone makes another. But I think people's main problem with starfield was they couldn't handle the vastness of space it's too real when you land on a random planet they're not going to be 27 buildings or outpost within walking distance and even though I love the realism of that cuz that's how it should be I also can understand where people will get bored with it. But if you take a realistic approach curb t𓃲hose expectations this is exactly what starfield was supposed to be.Not Skyrim/fallout in space.
