I don't mind the route 🍎of the healer for ffxiv. We are healers, our main reason is to heal. For those asking for dps rotation, do you want to dps or to heal? If you want to dps and want rotation then go for dps, why go for healer when you want to dps? They made the dps rotation so it's easy to go back to our main role which is healing. Introducing more dps rotation would make you focus more on dps and instead of healing, then what's the point of a healer? For the tanks, it is OK for tanks to at least have some healing,why? Because it at least gives a little window for healers to dps. Imagine the tanks without healing and dmg mitigation, they will rely on the healer too much and you know what happens? Healer will not dps and just focus on healing only. Also the media tour was just a sample of dawntrail. I'm pretty sure they saw the couples of players playing without healers in a party. You know what will happen? They will adjust, whether to make tanks take more damage or increase the damage dealt by mobs. Having a strike on this just shows how disrespectful these people are to the game and are not optimistic of the changes. Try it out first before making judgement. Then if you are scared or want to strike then go ahead no one's stopping you. I rather play with someone who is looking forward to the game and someone crying like a river for this.
