It is every pubs wet dream to have a successful live service game beca𝔍use once it runs it needs a small upkeep for high returns. Issue is, most live service games that succeed ten♑d to have at least some pro-consumer things that make them appealing(e.g. Warframe and how they allow you to trade plat, which is the paid currency of the game).

The stab I had for journalists was conc﷽erning every other slop that gets pushed out and ends up in Studio closures, see veilguard, concord, etc.

Maybe the issue is that publishers, instead of doing their job and just publishing games talented devs made, they forced wha🔜tever marketers and game journos told them ont🎉o the devs to make slop that no one wanted to nether make nor play.

I don't ge𝕴t how with all the news and reviews concerning Starfield can someone buy it and regret it. Like, the only way to make that error is if you buy games based on what game journos tell you.

They need to pay me 60 bucks to play it. If they want me finish it they need to pay me 120 for premium time but 𒆙I might cut my services unexpectedly and without any given reason.
