“Not Sure💯 If I Can Keep Going”- Dune: Awa💎kening Players Aren’t Convinced The Game’s Endgame Is Viable For One Set Of Players
SenaSetoria well, depends on your definition of friendღ. In MMOs, you usually join a guild/alliance that can be (at least initially) full of strangers. As long as you join the guild activities, you often don't even need to talk to anyone, so no friendship is actually required. You can leave guilds and join others, until you find one♛ where you feel comfortable. Or check for example discord communities.
For Love's Sake, Please Stop Making New Versions Of Old Games
I think there's nothing wrong about comparisons per se. If you were a bit older (or played PC games - specifically - earlier), you'd realise there was nothing truly revolutionary about Skyrim when it came out, compared to, say, Oblivion. (And🎉 before that, Ultima Underworld and so on).
Just like there 💯was nothing truly revolutionary about WoW when it came out, but still ended up being the *standard* MMORPG.
There's also the🅺 difference in comparing mechanics and visuals/settings. For example, I'm a Pillars of Eterni🤡ty fan, so I really enjoyed Avowed for the setting.
I think the problem is, while gamers are allowed to draw comparisons between games, there's now a vocal, whiny, out-of-proporti🍸onally raging, social-media-empowered minority that are complaining about the most idiotic things or changes! (Like if a game is too "woke"; or not "woke" enough; threatening devs over games like Fallout 76 - which was never meant to be "Fallout 5").
If there's one thing that may be stifling innovation in games are the plethora of lackluster (and much more expensive than the originals) remasters. Most if f the time, it's the same game with a few graphics improvements. These kind of comparisons, in my opinion, are the ones ♏that should be discussed nowadays. Totally different than comparing, in your example🌄, Avowed and Skyrim.
