Hopefully not, considering that as hardware gets better, developers are going to make things🍒 more detailed and power-hungry, and less optimized. 40 and 45 FPS modes are going to get much more necessary as time goes by. (45 because Steam Deck. 90 Hz, one frame per two refresh cycles.)

The way the PSVR2 is dying like this just reminds me of the Vita. Sony didn't support either piece of hard🧜ware like they needed. Just tossed them out into the world to die.

At least the PSVR2 got an adapter to use it on PC (though I'd still like to see drivers/software that don't need the adapter, even if﷽ there's slightly increased latency or frame times compared to with it).

I'm not so sure I'm concerned about "rotate or no rotateꦜ", I just want to see tournament-caliber decks, for not much more than starters, that don't have special markings or card backs that make them unusable. (Seriously, F the M:tG and Pokémon tournament winner decks that aren't tournament-legal.)

I'm with the jud✤ges on this one. You can go ahead and try to claim that Cifuentes shouldn't have gotten the win, but (without looking deeper into the timings of everyt🎀hing), the match results probably hadn't even been officially recorded yet.

And while a gesture like that might be barely acceptable in a game marketed primarily for adults (such as Magic or Netrunner), that must not be allowed to fly with something like Pokémon. Even if you wanna claim it was "rolling dice", you know what it looks like and the world has seen too damn many dog whistles to be able to assume anything but the worst. If you're in the public eye, you don't get to have as much benefit of the dou💖bt as everyone else.

I think that games in general should be more accessiꩵble, along with having pathways towards understanding and enjoying the less accessible stuff.

Any individual game should be what the developer wants it to be. If it﷽'s for a wide audience and easy, that's fine. If it's for 𒁃masochists that wanna take an hour just to learn how to move around, also fine.

Elden Ring and other FromSoftware fantasy action-RPG games wouldn't🌊 be ꦬthe same if they were "accessible", which in that case would probably involve tighter controls, cancelling more attacks into safe dodges, and easier enemies.

No Man's Sky, as this article indicates, is made better for having🧸 it🦄s options.

Yoshi's Story was great despite initial (and much later) criticism because the core game is easy, but lets a playe🍌r see the challenge in plain sight (how many Hearts to grab, do you wanna go for 30 Melons, etc.) and decide whether to go for it or not.

Maybe FF should stop trying so hard to be action and let itself be an RPG series again. Instead of taking the worst parts of the franchise🍃 and melding them with generic pulp fantasy and even more generic Original Xbox action combat (Eikon battles excluded), take the best and mix itꦆ with some Baldur's Gate 3 ideas. Or the KOTOR games.
