Veilguard was a huge disappoin▨tment. It felt like DragonAge Fortnite. The color palette was pastels. The scripting felt off. The only characters that didn't feel paper thin were established in previous games, and they were all pale shadows of themselves. The lack of continuity from previous games and players choices no longer mattering, was a deal breaker. It pushed the game into being almost unplayable. Ma൩ss Effect Andromeda was a masterpiece by comparison.
I have the exact opposite thought. I have never liked the leaning in to𝐆wards action rpg. I hate games like god of war, and have disliked the move away from the things I liked about Dragon Age Origins. I get tired of the constant need to reinvent the wheel with every new game.
