i think its kind of a stretch to equate Dragon Age with Serious Sam if your main reason is that they changed dras🦹tically between titles. Sonic's series does this, Sonic 06 is set in a human world with pretty female character and very serious mood, Sonic Unleashed had a sorta bad-ified version sonic - werehog sonic, shadow the hedgehog, technically you could say theyve been edgy from the genesis days and (okay maybe you have a point) but theres doom 64, horror themed doom (and STRONGLY horror themed doom, over action, and they continued this with Doom 3 which w🔯as so horror themed and so following the lines of other horror space shooter jumpscare titles around that it received backlash)

sorry if this seems like a harsh criticism, if it doesnt then great, my main point is that it would probably be more fair to say that both serious sam and dragon age had wild series directions over the course of their titles, because i kinda came into this getting kinda excited for a dragon age game that swears and features ridiculous serious sam 2 style plot. Havent been able to find any dragon age footage to suggest there IS a wacky, over the top mega horde of monsters that swarm me i�🌞�n seconds within logging onto dragon age because i havent had too much time to research but still, i dont think dragon age and serious sam have that much in common.
