Would Animation Be A Better F♈it For Adapting The Works Of Brಞandon Sanderson?
Live action epic fantasy requires a tremendous investment of time, money, and personnel. It can work, but the only successful ones we've seen have been eit🌞her trilogies or the cast was mostly children. Actors age, and they get bored playing the same character for months every year without the freedom to play other roles.
Animation doesn't suffer from those issues; and before someone mentioned Arcane, the cost for that first season wa𓆏s mostly R&D for the 3d animation system they used. And the reason season 2 was expensive was because they (imo stupidly) revamped that system.
Castlevania didn't cost nearly as much, looked 𝓡fantastic, and was well received.
Imo animation should be the go-to for long epic fantasy. And as Sanderson says, the one maki🔥ꦿng the decisions needs to be someone that truly loves the source material, not someone in love with the idea of changing it.
Gundam's New Warhammer-like Miniatures Game Misses The Point Of Gunpla
Gunpla and these miniatures aren't really related. They are meant to be two distinctly different things;🌜 just like the Gundam cꦫard game will be.
Honestly, I hope this𝓀 expands to full on armies/fleets in the future. I'd love some capital ship vs capital ship action. I'm interested in this type of tabletop game, but WH40k seems both dense and expensiv꧃e to explore. This might be just what I need to get into it.
