Obviously whoever suggested this never played the original FF7 game or any of the pre FFX games where gaining access to the airship and the freedom of traveling the skies and exploring the world was a major highlight of the games. This is what people who've played those games and have wanted back for the last 25 years. More freedom, not a linear hallway. A wise man once said. "Thank god you're not in c𒁃harge the game... what a terribl♓e idea."

I don't mind our mentor role after saving the universe. Some people want to continue being the center of attention so that's understandable. Wuk just isn't the most well written character and has way too much screen time when it didn't need to take nearly as long as it did to tell her story. But I see people bringing up trans or Mary Sue about her and I'm convinced they just shut off their brains at some point, Maybe they got bored and filled in the blanks because they couldn't focus on the drawn out story. I honestly think Zero's story arc was more enjoyable and didn't overstay 👍it's welcome like this one did. She was also imo a more interesting character that I wanted to know more about. Wuk had no real depth to explore aside from needing some encouragement andꦬ believing in herself. Much of her story was about the mind numbing tasks of learning about the different people out in the world, not self discovery. There was nothing left afterwards. Even she herself has little interest in her own backstory when you actually meet one of her parents. Maybe that'll change in future patches. I'm just not sure having more of her is going to help the situation unless she becomes more interesting.
