Homebrew=/=piracy. I want to run all sorts of custom things on HW I own. I even want full control over my save files, but in japanese mentality and law you don't even own your single player save file. They don't give a s... that in other countries that's not the case. Many of my retro console have cus൩tom backgrounds for example. Modding and customization is not illegal outside of Japan as long as you're not modifying their own code, just exchanging it to something else. Like a customizable os. Also you will also get banned if a store puts their games earlier than allowed on the shelves and tried to go online believing it's fine, since you just bought an original game from a shop. 7 of my friends in a poké community got banned this way, including myself. Guess how many Fs did support give us when we wrote them. None of us got a reply. At least one of them sold their console, pretending nothing is wrong with it (he's not our friend since then). So this is also a blow to poor people who can only afford a second hand console. Or you are a journalist or just a geek and want to run HW tests could get the test console banned. Just a few example🐠s I could easily list you 10-12 more from the top of my head where no piracy is involved.

Have you considered you know... the only solution that would change the industry and what would stop you spending my week's food money on virtual cards you will eventually lose? That is not downloading anything with unethical microt꧙ransactions or lootboxes/gachas in the first place. Of course you get lots of free stuff. That is always step 1. It makes you feel invested in the game and hooks you in. Psychologically tricking people into buying stuff should be illegal. People who download it are the reason we ♈can't have more nice things on mobile these days.

Yeah. English voices got better during the years, but they are notoriously terrible in quality. Wuk Lamat is one of the worst actor choices. Death threats howeve🌳r... wow, humanity sucks.

I dislike watching/playing in a language I don't understand, so I ended up with the Japanese voiceover, because at least I learned a little bit of that. It never ceazes to amaze me when people (mostly native speakers, especially from the US) defend terrible voice acting or fake videos. It's very weird that they often don't hear the difference between real speech/chatter and totally fake, read up text. We discovered this by accident, on the uni, where I studied English, so we started experimenting with it between classes. All of us non-natives, plus some British could easily differentiate when someone recited from head, read something aloud, or just spoke in a "fake" tone and we even found all of these annoying. We could all pick out natural talk. None of the 🤪American🍒s could tell the difference between these or just random, natural, spontaneous chitchat. If I stayed for a phd this would have been my topic, lol.
