You're absolutely right about the combat in their more recent games. It really is 🐻excellent action combat.

As someone who has always enjoyed the Vanguard in ME games, the steady progress from the painfully inadequate ME1 through the pla꧙yable🀅 ME2 to the outstanding implementation of that build in ME3 and kick-ass in Andromeda illustrates Bioware's action combat learning curve better than any other example I can think of.

The Spellblade in The Veilguard comes clo🔯se, but the ME Vanguard is still their b♑est combat implementation so far.
