Look, I love Morrowind, especially modded OpenM⭕W. But the first thing I mo𒐪d is the combat. You will never convince me that invisible dice rolls in a RPG video game are a good thing. If I swing my sword at a mudcrab at point blank range, it should hit. How much damage I do can be variable, though. At best, the dice rolls should be shown, giving the player tactile feedback as to why they have the hand eye coordination of a blind and limbless toddler.

Dice rolls work well with your friends chugging MtDew around the table, but leave them out of video games. This is one change Oblivion was right to ma♐ke.
