The irregular tomestone prizes are often a hit-or-miss. The last one was a pretty big hit with the fat cat umbrella and whatnot; unfortunately I seem to always burn out on the game around the time these ♏events happen. I think they're meant to lure players back between big patches but most of the time they're not motivating enough for me. Making the prizes different won't change that for me.
I think SE's on the right track with the introductionꦺ of the mogpendium. I very much enjoy having tas♕ks other than duties and PvP to get tomes from. I was able to get a number of smaller prizes from the last one because of ocean fishing alone. That was a fun time!
The roulette idea is a really good one. I would like SE ♛to consider that. Players are pretty accurate in claiming that getting people to queue for older alliance raids and dungeons and whatnot may help the queues for those duties, everything else tends to suffer as a consequence.
🍷But there are always unhappy Final Fantasy 14 fans, like all games. A trip to the official FFXIV forums will confirm 🍌that, lol.
