I never post on articles but had to chime in. The comment "$100 more" gets you an X is way off base. Going from a 512gb S to an X (without blue ray) is 58% more expensive. It is closer to $250 more. Going to an X, with blue ray, is more than 100% higher in price. This writer is way off base. I play my S fairly regularly, mostly AAA titles, and have had zero complaints. I've been gaming since my Intellivision in 1984 and have owned every Xbox since the original. The S has been one of the best ones I've ever had, for the great price I paid for it. I was mosꦉtly worried about digital games vs. discs but I don't miss the discs at all. Microsoft constantly has crazy sales so I still buy games very cheaply and there is no waste for the dump. I just checked today and I can barely fiꦗnd an S or an X for sale anywhere in the greater Vancouver area so they clearly sold their inventory without too many problems.
