Replaying HL2, Episodes 1 and 2 recently on contemporary hardware and drivers is fantastic. However, it reminded me of something that had been bugging me still after all these years. Gღiven the location of City 17, supposedly somewhere in Eastern Europe with all of the outside signage in Cyrillic, all of the interior warning signs are in English. That sort of discontinuity kinda breaks the ♔illusion, if and when 3 comes out, I hope they fix it.

My first thought was "if the game is set during the first Mongol invasion of 1274, the entire war lasted less than a month". This is an historical fact, and thousands of troops were💝 involved unti🐈l the invading Mongol fleet was blown out to sea with most of their troops and supplies. What's the point of focusing on one antagonist given the historical context?
