The lack of comedy is a great thing. Yakuza stories would shine brighter if the focus was on the main side of things. Th🌞e tonal whiplash is just insane and I feel like people like the series because they're the type to accept anything in game's regardless of whether it makes sense or not, especially if it has meme potential. Can't say I relate to that mindset.

I haven't watched the live action adaptation b✱ut if the worst thing you can say about it is that it lacks the "charm", "heart" (whatever you wanna call it) of Yakua's comedy, then it's a flaꦚw I'll instantly turn into a quality.
