The current battle pass system, while praised prior to full launch for being an anti-fomo system, is actually just designed to increase fomo and financial transactions. If you stick to the free battle pass, you can't get a majority of the skins and rewards that you work so hard to get tokens for, and you're time locked in completion. If you purchase the luxu⛎ry pass, you can get everything, and you have no time limit as you can finish the battle pass after that season ends. If you want slightly faster progression in the pass, you can get the Luxury pass with the extra bonuses for, I believe, $20 USD, giving you extra towns, and an increased token earning percentage.

So, pay $10 USD and slog away at slowlyﷺ getting redemptions, or double that for slightly faster unlocking. But if you're staying free pass, well, enjoy your couple of sprays and 1 or 2 skins. (Also, I did the math, and if you decide to get the luxury pass and then pay for enough tokens to unlock everything, it take 12,000 credits. That is between $100-120 USD. I'm not at my computer right now to double check the number of tokens you get for $100).
