Oblivion Taught Me That Save Scumming Might Nඣot Be A Good Thing
Save scumming is wholly dependent on the game. Imo, the꧟ necessity of doing it typically stems from a poorly designed game element.
For example, there's an indie game I play where the bosses💝 drop loot after they die. You also have to spend some time fighting your way to each; the devs chose not to or simply never considered scaling up the loot to the level of the boss.
So you could spend 15💃 m𝐆ins getting to a level four mob, only to receive a random unique item generated from a level 1-4 range. Fighting the last mob is ofc, particularly frustrating after a fierce slog when he drops you a level 1 tree ax.
So save scumming becomes a mor෴e accessible way to enjoy the broad range of armors, items and wraps the devs created.
