See AllI'm Thrilled Silksong Finally Has A Release Window, But Microsoft's Focus On The Xbox Handheld Makes It Feel Like A Hollow Victory
You are upset that Xbox, a video game publisher and conꦑsole maker, is using a highly anticipated game as part of marketไing for a gaming device?
The🧸 devs clearly were okay with their game being showed thi𓄧s way or otherwise it shouldn't be up there. There is also Gamescom in August where we could see more of this game.
Opinions are fine but it just s🌺ounds like you are whining that a game didn't get a dedicated trailer when you see the rest of the Summer Game Fest pretty much making it into a gag on purpose. Look at the Deadpool VR trailer. Time will come when the devs are ready.
Grounded 2 Was All I Needed From The Xbox Showcase, But Why Is It Set𒅌 In A Park And Not The Place Everyone Wanted To Go In T🔯he First Game?
My t🥃heory on why they chose a par꧃k over the house is two reasons:
1) They can bring in WAAAY mor😼e wildlife vari𓄧eties and resources. Look at a park and then look at your backyard. Which is more likely to have a more diverse wildlife?
2) The house would be pretty much resource deprived. Think about a house. What materials would you gather there to make the trip worth it? How would you make the environment fun to explore? Sma house sounds cool t🅠o explore at the si♌ze of an ant but also sounds...tedious. say there's a chair leading up to a kitchen table. Cool. So...how are you gonna climb up there without needing to make a dozen or two trips with planks? And for what?
Sure, a park seems just a bigger backyard to a lot of folks looking at this but that is what the fans WANTED. To me🌌, a house just seems more like a final area of which you can't return f♑rom than an expansion of the default experience

Xbox's 2024 Year In Review Reminded Me I Have An Xbox
This is to DinDanDoo:
Good for you! I have a PS5 and Series X ☂as well. I prefer the Xbox because
1) the battery DOES last longer on an Xbox controller than a Dualﷺsense. If you're just gonna plug in the controller to recharge it, then just keep it plugged it. The original writer here acts as if batteries are such a hassle to change or acquire (what household DOESN'T have something that requires any batteries) and acts as if they're a saint to the environment going rechargeable. That's self importance rubs me the wrong way.
2) I don't care about your preference. I prefer the Xbox because it's far more solid with my chaotic household with children. I have gone through maybe five or six Xbox controllers on 360, two for Xbox One and Series X versus the dozen PS3-PS4 controllers and ꦛ3 Dualsen🎃ses. Durability and (relative) kid-proof is my winning factor. Also, the Dualsense is neat but Playstation kept making horribly missed opportunities to use the all the features.
Seriously, besides the two Astro games, when have you ever actually had to BLOW into the microphone? Why not let the microphone let you speak the NPCS by reading dialogue trees? ꦿAlso, I'm so sick of the showcases of haptics and adaptive triggers being "look at the hero's bow getting tighter! That's the real bow and arrow experience - a button sha⭕ped like a trigger!"
3) They're cheaper and they didn't need to change anything for the sake of features. Ask PC p꧂layers. They universally go with Xbox controllers, so yeah, cool features, but not necessary.
Xbox's Server Outage Proves Modern Gaming Is Going Backwards
It was down for SOME. It wasn't completely shut down 👍because you should have heard/seen a ton of people, you know, complaining about it.
It didn'🎃t go down for me and when it does I actually can still play my games that have bought.
