The author of this article is correct, It's technically a𒀰n extremely narrow window. My home theater setup where I run Xbox thru a matrix to 4 screens simultaneously was causing enough lag where I had to plug it in direct &🤡 never before have I had to do that. It's still extremely narrow.

These kinds of articles are sad. They remind me of those YT ragebait reviews that refuse to give UBI any credit even when they deserve it. No love for the gorgeously realized historical recreation of feudal Japan, complete with changing seasons? T🦋he strange balance of feeling like an adept sneaky ninja when the mood strikes, & switching to the gloriously tanky & surprisingly fun head chopping samurai when that mood strikes? All in the same game & both being very fun when used to their strengths.

Ur right about the voice acting & sto꧙ry presentation. It left somethin🎃g to be desired. But here u are only 15hrs into the game, & judging it against a game ur zero hrs into.

I'm a huge fan of Ghost of Tsushima. I also have over 100 hrs into AC & while I can acknowledge val☂id criticisms, the idea of putting that one down so as not to spoil ur dinner is silly as u'll n𒁏ever even have gotten far enough to make an accurate comparison....

Have u started Yasuke's Templar missions yet with his slavers? The duels with the former students? At 15 hrs I didn't even get to his OMI backstory missions yet.. Yes there's lots of filler, yes the exওecution of the overall story & VA isn't the best. But one thing Ubisoft does amazingly well & never gets deserved credit for is create worlds.

Also learning more about fe🤪udal Japan than ever did in school (Nobunaga's invasion & how he really did die that way as Mitsuhide betrayed him & how Shinobi/Ninja really did originate in IGA..)

Those who have played it & who either don't listen to or have no idea abo🧸ut the weird youtube & tiktok gaming influencer hate trend for this game seem to be enjoying it.... on the other side there's some folks who even go so far they seem to literally think any positive reaction must be paid for by game companies loll its bizarre..... I love the game it's even on pause rn I paused it to look online for the point of no return so I don't pass it & stumbled on this..

Could the game be better? Sure. But is it fun & immersive? Yes. What u said about the tiktoks is so accurate cuz there seems to be a (relatively) new trend where the youtube & tiktok influencers completely steer public opinion in videogames & this game got made out to be seen as "uncool" from the gate. In the days before social media existed like that, the same game woulda fared better. There was some gameplay reveal that became the catalyst for the hate trend from people ready to bash the game thx to anti-UBI bias & becuz exaggerated pearl clutching seems to get clicks... I haven't even seen it but I've seen the absurd mockery where it was mentioned.. As someone older I'm somewhat immune to these rage-bait videos & see thru them🃏 but I pity the younger gen-z folks for not knowing they're kinda being manipulated. Even times when these influencers don't intend it that way, it's what can end up happening & def happened with this game.

The culture u spoke of is so real & toxic. I had no idea this gameﷺ was getting hate til after I was hrs in &🦂amp; loving it.

I check the regular game sites, & even saw positive reviews in🐓 Men's Journal, Sports Illustrated & GQ. But today's youth trusts Tom RedSoxFan99 over any professionals... (and according to them, the game site reviews were paid for, of course...🦋. (loll)

Star Wars Outlaws may not be perfection but it deserves more love. The worlds themselves are actually kind of amaz﷽ing.
