It's just a microcosm of everything that's wrong with the wor🥂ld. Out of touch corporate millionaires are leveraging their unilateral control over intellectual property to twist and bastardize beloved franchises into shallow echos of themselves that only serve to perpetuate one sided policy decisions designed to remove as much agency from their loyal playerbase in service of profit margins and share price. It's very clear classist discrimination that spits in the face of everything a democracy should stand for. The players hate these choices. And they hate the predatory monetization that follows. It's disgusting that nothing is being done to﷽ stop it.
