If♛ Everyone Wanted To Makes Games Stupid Expensive They Probably Should Have Done It Before All The Best Games Were Free
Good article, but I disagree with the sentiment. Nintendo isn't respon♋sible for inflation -- or otherwise increased prices for rent, food etc. -- and their employees need to pay these expenses, too. They work very hard. What should we do, tell Nintendo to reduce fire them and reduce their team size or their salaries?
I don't mind paying an additional $10 - $20. I 𝄹routinely pay that and more for a DCL on top of the base price of a 🐻given PC game (or whatever the console of choice may be).
Also, to each their own, but I will (almost) always purchase Nintendo's first party games. The🌠y are among the very best out there.
Also, I work very hard during the wee🗹k (and often over the weekend). When I am done working, I want relax and unwind with a game; and I am willing to drop some dough now and then if it is a game that has reviewed well and I want to play.
So maybe I will order out less for a bi🍸t. Or not go out (or whatever) to make the budget accommodate the purchase. (Or, as the article points out, maybe I will play a free game next time, when a new first party Nintendo game isn't out.)
But I am definitely not going t♈o deprive myself of a great game (by Nintendoꦐ or otherwise).
Also, I grew up with Nintendo in the 80s and 90s. They may not be perfect in every way (no person or company is) but they have made♍ my free time immensely better and have created priceless memories.
Do I, personally, like paying more? Not particularly. But I will soon🦂 forget my gripes about this (and most everything else) once I hit start (orꦜ A) and begin playing.
